Q. What kind of Resort is Vitambi Springs / How much is a membership?

A. Vitambi Springs is primarily an All-Male, Private Membership Resort for adults over the age of 21. You must become a member to gain access to the resort; membership is $20/year. Throughout the year, Vitambi Springs will hold “All Welcome” weekends and other themed weekends that will include women and occasionally host "All-Women" weekends. As the resort grows, we will look to expand to meet growing needs for greater inclusion.

Q. Do you have RV or Trailer Hook-ups?

A. A selection of sites for RVs and Trailers are currently available. These RV and Trailer sites offer 30AMP electrical hook up, water and sewer connections.  We will keep our members informed as more sites become available and keep the website updated on construction plans. We do have a number of cabins, cottages, homes, bunkhouse, Inn-style rooms and tent sites available now.

Q. Do you have a clothing-optional pool area?

A. Yes, the pool is located in the clothing optional section of the park at the Garden Quarter. It is heated on weekends during the cooler months, guests may enjoy the pool and recreational facilities of the Garden Quarter from Sunrise to Sunset.  Clothing is required in all public buildings and designated areas. However, Vitambi is very large and a majority of the park is designated "clothing optional". Those areas will be noted with appropriate signage. (Please see Rules and Regulations if further explanation is required).

Q. Are there dangerous animals at Vitambi Springs?

A. This is the Florida wilderness and part of the charm is its natural habitat. We always recommend that you wear appropriate shoes while hiking for added safety and pay attention to your surroundings. Animals generally avoid human interaction. There is an abundance of beautiful birds and small animals, we ask that you just be aware and do not harm or feed any animal or allow your pet to harass any animal.

Q. Where is the closest shopping area and medical center?

A. Clewiston (20 Miles North) is the closest city for most anything you might need. There is a Super Wal-Mart, drug stores, fast food, liquor store, restaurants, regional hospital and most conveniences found in small town America. The regional hospital has advanced state-of-the-art equipment and a well trained staff.

Q. Do you have Day Passes?

A. Yes, but you must be a member and pay the prevailing day pass rate. Day Passes are $10 valid 9AM-9PM Monday-Sunday. Come out and enjoy the day at the park with full access to all amenities including the Bongo Bar, BOLO Cafe, Pool and other amenities as well as participation in camp sponsored events and activities.

Q. Do you have a Bar and Restaurant at Vitambi?

A. The Bongo Bar is a full-service bar with wine, beers and liquor. It is open and serving drinks on weekends. Our Restaurant, BOLO Café, is open and serving wholesome food on weekends as well. Our guests are welcome to bring their own food and cooking supplies. If you stay in one of the rental homes, you’ll find a complete kitchen with basic necessities. We also have a camp store, Safari Outfitters, with basic items, for your convenience. Please be aware that as of January 2014, the Pine Tree Inn will no longer provide cooking facilities but a refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster will remain available.

Q. Are Pets allowed at Vitambi?

A. Yes, we are a pet friendly resort, however, not all accommodates allow pets. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times, even at your camp sites. Do not allow your pet to harass or threaten any of the park's many animals. IMPORTANT- Aggressive or nuisance animals are not allowed and we have a limit of no more than two (2) dogs per site or accommodation. Pets are not allowed in public areas and in designated lodging where indicated. Always let us know if you plan on bringing your pets and check with our staff for restrictions.

Q. How far is Vitambi from other nearby attractions or points of interest?

A. Within a 90 minute drive, you will find a number of fun and interesting sites and things to do. The Seminole Casino and Reservation is just 15 miles away with larger Casino only 40 miles away in Immokalee. Everglades National Park, Swamp Buggy Tours, Air boat Rides, Corkscrew Sanctuary, a variety of beaches, and nature preserves make for great day trips while visiting Vitambi.

Q. Do you have Air Conditioned Accommodations?

A. Yes, we have several air conditioned lodging accommodations. They included the Pine Tree Inn- with eight (8) bedrooms, Fort Orion Barracks, Wood Stork Cottage, Blue Heron Cottage and Wild Turkey Cottage are all climate controlled. Additionally, many Cabins have A/C and/or ceiling fans and electricity for your comfort. Heaters are not provided for every accommodation.
