We strive to make VITAMBI SPRINGS a safe and comfortable place for everyone.

Failure to follow these rules can result in removal from the park, having your membership revoked and in some cases, county Sheriff law enforcement.

  • Membership/Registration:
      • VITAMBI SPRINGS is a membership-only resort, everyone entering VITAMBI SPRINGS must purchase a membership.
      • You must be at 21 years of age to enter VITAMBI SPRINGS.
      • All day visitors and overnight campers must check-in with registration. Day Pass visitors must leave the park by Sunset.
      • The Registration Desk is open 9am-6pm Sunday-Thursday, and 9am-9pm on Friday & Saturday. Check-in times are from 2pm-5pm on Sunday-Thursday and 2pm-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Please make advanced arrangements for check-in at times outside these hours. Check-out time is 12pm noon.
  • Public Conduct
      • All members of VITAMBI SPRINGS are important to us. Respect for individual differences is all we ask. Please respect each other.
      • Public sex and overt sexual activity are not permitted.
  • Alcohol/Drug Use
      • At VITAMBI SPRINGS you are allowed to bring your own alcohol, it must be consumed in a responsible manner.
      • We sell beer, wine and alcohol at our general store and alcoholic drinks are available at the restaurant and bar and by the pool during select events.
      • Public intoxication will not be tolerated. Drunken abusive behavior towards others is not tolerated.
      • The use or sale of unlawful or illegal drugs is prohibited.
      • Please note: We ask our staff not to endure abusive discussions around these issues, they are directed to call the Sheriff’s office and allow it to be a law enforcement matter.
  • Campsites:
      • Please leave your campsite as you found it, free of trash – thank you.
  • Driving and Parking
      • All vehicles must be licensed.
      • Please be aware of your surroundings. The posted speed limit within the park is 12 miles per hour.
      • Please park in designated areas only. We ask that you not drive your vehicle in the park except upon arrival and departure
  • Music/Noise
      • VITAMBI SPRINGS is a wilderness resort. We value the peace and tranquility this property provides. Please respect your neighbors. After 10 pm until 9 am is quiet time at VITAMBI SPRINGS. Please keep your bright lights, your voice and music low during this time.
      • Wi-Fi Service: Our Wi-Fi is offered at no additional cost. The signal strength may vary depending on the demand, your location on the property and your device(s). Our Wi-Fi is not intended for long-term, heavy use and we do not guarantee its consistency. An upgraded Wi-Fi package may be available for purchase through the Reception Desk.
  • Pool:
      • Please obey all posted rules within the pools areas.
      • Our pools are not monitored by life guards.
      • Glass, Coolers and Pets are not allowed within the pool area.
      • Smoking, vaping or eating whilst in the pool is not allowed.
      • During the Winter months, the pool is heated Thursday thru Monday; however, on the rare days where the air temperature does not exceed 70 degrees, (that’s 21 degrees for our Canadian friends) guests tend to find other activities to engage in rather than swimming and the pool will not be heated on those days.
  • Nudity
      • VITAMBI SPRINGS has a large area designated as clothing optional. Not all areas are clothing optional, please honor areas designated as clothing required.
      • The main road into the park and all public buildings where business in conducted are never clothing optional. Clothing must be worn in and around the Big Oak Lodge, (see map identifying areas where nudity is allowed). Clothing optional areas are expanded for “naturist” weekends but never in the areas identified above.
  • Trash:
      • Do not litter
      • Please ensure all trash is secured in plastic bags whenever possible and placed in the appropriate receptacles throughout the park.
      • Guests here for a long-term stay may use the dumpster located near the lodge.
  • Fire:
      • Fire is strictly monitored in this area of the Everglades. Climate change is causing more forest fires to occur in the region. We cannot allow individual wood-burning campfires. In some instances individual fires may be allowed in propane-powered fire ring containers that are set off the ground.
      • There are times when fires will be completely banned as directed by authorities. However, when possible, we try to safely offer a few camp-sponsored fires. Please see weekly schedule for details.
  • Trees:
      • Do NOT cut down any trees. Only park staff are authorized to remove trees or tree limbs.
  • Pets: – We welcome your pets here at VITAMBI SPRINGS; however, there are a few rules to follow: Please understand, our concern is not only for your pets safety and comfort but also other guests and the welfare of the park’s many animals.
      • Barking dogs may be asked to leave the park or not return; owners unwilling or unable to address their barking dog will be asked to leave as well.
      • All pets must remain on a leash.
      • There is a limit of 2 pets per reservation.
      • Always clean up after your pet. Please dispose in a trash receptacle.
      • Pets are not allowed in public buildings with the exception of service animals. These areas include the reception area, general store, bar, restaurant, patio area, pool area, shower house or bathrooms.
      • Owners are financially responsible for any damage caused by their pet.
  • Water:
      • VITAMBI SPRINGS’ Reverse Osmosis filtered well water is some of the best water available. Please do not waste water and help us by reporting any known leaks.
      • Please turn off all faucets or showers when finished
      • Dish washing in the bathroom is prohibited
  • Grey Water:
      • It is illegal to dump black or grey water anywhere.
  • Smoking:
      • Smoking & Vaping is prohibited in all public buildings and all accommodations.
      • Smoking is only allowed in outdoor open areas but not allowed while in the pool.
      • Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground; be considerate of nature and other guests.
  • Safety and Responsibility:
      • Use caution! This is a wilderness park for outdoor recreation. You will not find neatly paved walkways or bike paths. The resort cannot be held responsible for the inherent dangers of the natural environment or carelessness. Members must take extreme care to avoid injury from trees, rocks, uneven ground, darkness, wildlife and other hazards.
      • VITAMBI SPRINGS, BAZU LLC and the management and staff are not responsible for the loss or theft to any personal property. Leave valuables safely locked in your vehicle.
      • Do not feed the wildlife.
      • Please report any dangerous situations to the registration desk.
      • Please notify the registration desk of any injury, illness and any perceived or actual crime.
  • Strictly Prohibited:
    • Personal fireworks are prohibited.
    • Hunting is prohibited.
    • Use of a Drone is not permitted without prior authorization from management.
    • Violence which includes threats of violence of any kind is prohibited.
    • The use or sale of unlawful or illegal drugs is prohibited, Hendry Co. Sheriff will address if necessary.
    • No one may operate or engage in any commercial activity without prior written approval this includes the sale of any kind of recreational vehicle.
